Saad Bargach has more than 30 years experience in the energy industry spanning a 25 year career at Schlumberger, 8 years of private equity at Lime Rock Partners, and since 2014 as the founder of his Family Investment Office, BRYSS Inc., focused on several technology developments in oilfield services and renewable energy.

Between 2006 and 2014, Saad was a Managing Director of Lime Rock Partners (see www.lrpartners.com), a leading energy-focused private equity firm with more than $5.6 billion under management that invests in oil and gas companies in the exploration and production, energy service, and oil service technology sectors. During Saad’s almost 8 years at Lime Rock he was actively involved in more than a dozen investments by Lime Rock ranging from large established companies to early stage development opportunities.

Prior to joining Lime Rock Partners, Mr. Bargach worked for approximately 25 years at Schlumberger (www.slb.com). Saad joined Schlumberger as a field engineer in South America, and subsequently worked in a variety of roles around the world before assuming a number of leadership positions. His leadership roles at Schlumberger included serving as: the President of Oilfield Services for Africa and the Near East (based in Cairo) between 1997 and 1998, where he oversaw a business unit with approximately 8,000 employees and annual revenues in the range of $2Billion; President of the Drilling & Measurements Group between 1998 and 2002 where he tripled the size of the business and grew the profitability twice as fast as the revenue with over 10,000 employees and annual revenues in excess of $1.5Billion; President of the Well Completions and Production Group between 2004 and 2006 where he oversaw a business unit with over 10,000 employees and annual revenues in excess of $3Billion; Executive Vice President Global Consulting & Systems Integration of Atos Origin/SchlumbergerSEMA following Schlumberger’s acquisition and divestiture of SEMA (then the largest IT services company in Europe) between 2002 and 2004 with a revenue in excess of €3Billion; and lastly as Chief Information Officer & President of Real Time Solutions.

Mr. Bargach has degrees in both electrical engineering (BS) and control systems (MS). He is fluent in four languages and has been an author or co-author of several patents.

Mr. Bargach currently serves on the board of directors (as an independent director and chairman) of AccessESP, TGT Oilfield Services; Premience, and VES Survey International. He also is a director of Novomet and serves on Energy Ventures as operating partner. He formerly served as director and chairman of the board of Archer Ltd., Geodynamics and Tercel Oilfield Products, and as a director of Gas2, Expert Petroleum, OilServ, Tiway, and Extreme Coil Drilling. He also serves as a member of the board of directors of the American Productivity and Quality Center (www.apqc.org).
