Dmitry Davydov joined TGT in 2000 as a system administrator. In 2001–2014, he designed downhole equipment and was in charge of developing hardware and software components for TGT’s logging tools. Dmitry directly participated in the company’s on-shore and off-shore start-up field operations in the Gulf countries. In 2004, he became Deputy Director General of TGT, while retaining his research, development and design management functions.

Dmitry personally participated in the development of almost all TGT technologies. In 2011, he became Director General of TGT Technology Centre, which combines all research, development and tool manufacturing and testing activities of the company.

Dmitry Davydov graduated from Kazan State University’s Physics Department in 1997 with a specialisation in Radiophysics and Electronics and received his Master’s degree in 2000.

Since 2010, he is Chairman of the annual Student Scientific Conference on Mathematical Modelling and Information Technologies (SMIT).
